Hunting/ Fishing Licenses

We offer a complete inventory of Virginia Resident and Non-Resident hunting and fishing licenses as well as Federal Duck Stamps in “The Red Shed.”

To obtain a resident license, a person must show a valid Virginia driver’s license or other documentation to prove residency. Youngsters between the ages of 12 to 15 also must present a hunter safety card to buy a hunting license. Hunter safety classes are generally available several times a year locally. Firing Range

Clark Brothers offers a free outdoors shooting range for its loyal customers. All are welcome and we encourage families, women and youth to use our facilities. Since our space is limited, we want to reserve the range for those who patronize our store. We do not require membership or charge hourly for range use. However, we do require that ammunition and targets used on the range be purchased at our store. Handloaders are required to purchase the components used in ammunition fired on the range. We also require ear protection when shooting. We also suggest eye protection.

We do not allow full automatic of 50-caliber rifles to be shot on the range. Black powder firearms are welcome.

We offer a handgun shooting area consisting of 8 positions and a long gun shooting area of six benches, each holding two shooters. We also offer two clay target throwers for shotgun use. We can also set up target frames for shotgun patterning. The handgun range area has distances of 21 ft. (7 yards) and 50 feet. The long gun area has range distances of 25, 50, and 100 yards.

We are also an authorized range for Mason Neck Refuge qualification. We will certify your shooting proficiency so you can qualify to hunt.

An experienced range officer is on duty at all times to assist our customers.

Gunsmithing

We offer experienced in house gunsmithing for our customers’ repair needs.

We mount and bore-site all scopes purchased from us free of charge.
Most firearms we sell carry a one year warranty. All warranty work is provided promptly free of charge. Should the firearm require factory service, we handle all correspondence and shipping at no cost to our customer. You can have complete confidence that Clark Brothers will take care of any firearm purchased from us!

We offer an array of services for most modern and antique firearms. Please contact us with any repair problems that you may have.

Concealed Carry Permit Class

Clark Brothers is pleased to offer a concealed carry class on Saturday mornings. Class begins at 8 a.m. and usually ends around 10 a.m. Taught by experienced law enforcement personnel with certified firearms’ training, the class meets the requirement to prove “competence with a handgun” necessary to complete the concealed carry permit application. The fee for this class is $75.00 (we do accept credit cards for this class). Class includes one hour of classroom instruction and an hour of shooting. Students must score 70% proficiency in shooting to pass the class. Students must bring their own firearm to qualify and must purchase 50 rounds of ammunition from Clark Brothers. Upon successful completion of the class, students are issued a certificate to submit with their concealed carry application.

Safe Delivery

One of many products sold by Clark Brothers is a gun safe. We offer in home delivery on the complete line of Liberty Safes. Prices vary due to distance to the home and location of the safe in the home. Generally fees range from $75.00 to $250.00; Additional charges for long distances or difficult installations. We deliver safes using our own staff - you will never have to worry about subcontractors entering your home. We also place your safe in your home – not just delivered at the end of the driveway.

 

Gift Certificates

Clark Brothers offers gift certificates for that special someone who has everything. Available in any amount, our gift certificates can be used for any item in our store and The Red Shed. Gift certificates are redeemable for merchandise only; they cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash.

Firearms Sales.

We offer a unique selection of new and used, modern and antique firearms. We buy, sell and trade new and used firearms.

All sales are subject to all applicable local, state and federal regulations. We sell to the general public, federal firearms’ dealers, and law enforcement agencies.

Consignments

We offer consignment sales for most firearms and such related accessories as scopes, knives and swords. Our consignment fee is 20% of selling prices. Please contact us with any questions. We are capable of consigning one item or several hundred. We specialize in estate sales and collections.

Appraisals

Verbal appraisals of firearms are always free at Clark Brothers. We are also pleased to offer a written professional appraisal for $10.00 per item. We discount appraisals for multiple items or large estates.
